Stitches

Ok, it's now been 2 weeks since my op and I'm amazed at how quickly I've healed. Almost all of the pain and swelling went away after day 5! Now, after two weeks, my penis looks pretty much normal. I'm in no pain or even discomfort and it doesn't hurt when I get erections. The only thing is there are still some stitches. A couple have fallen out but there are around 4 I think that haven't. I've read that stitches take 10-14 days to fall out. Seeing as it's been 14 days, how much longer should I wait for the stitches to fall out? If they don't should I see the docotor? What does takeing the stitches out involve?
