"I’m going for a partial next Friday, wondered whether you could offer any advice regarding the following questions:-

>1) post op what are the most comfortable to wear Boxers or Pants?
>2) Will I be able to wash my penis early after or will I have to cover it when showering? - What’s the best cover to use???
>3) Sleeping - I currently sleep in my boxers will this still be feasible?
>4) Night time erections...I’m always getting these and certainly morning ones surely this will be incredibly painful is there anything that can be done?
>5) Will I be mobile for the first few days or will I be stuck in bed???
>6) What would you say is the average recovery time?
>7) I have the op on a Friday is it feasible to go out and watch the football on a Wednesday?? - Or will this be too painful especially with the cold weather!
Thanks in advance"

Well, I am going in for a full Circ 11th May, and I too would like the answers to these questions (apart from question 7!). One comment I already have - I am not sure, but this site appears to be used mostly by the US. I am having my Circ done in Berkshire, England. Unlike everyone else’s experiences I have read about, I am having a General Anaesthetic. Now I am not quite so brave, and so am in fact quite glad and relieved about this. Most of the Circs I read about here are done under local. Are there any real reasons against a General Anaesthetic other than preference? Another question I have - my Penis when flaccid is actually quite small and short, although when erect, gives a good 8 inches. Does this mean that my Circ will be tighter, and that the cut/scar will be much further up the shaft? I am opting for a high and moderate cut. As a result of much of my erect length apparently coming from expansion, I too am very worried about painful erections that I seem to encounter all through the night (much to my Wife's annoyance!)

Many thanks.
