As an answer to: Partial Circ...........recovery tips anyone? Marijuana as a pain killer? written by Manni at 14 Feb 2005 00:50:50:

Hello Mani,

Interesting, it is possible for THC to treat certain things (since there are THC pills for pain killing, treating chemo, and mood enhancers, although i do not know the genaric names of these drugs). Since it seems you are already familiar with the drug, I suggest you go for it. Not only can you smoke cannbis, but as you may know you can digest it. When inhaled THC enters the bloodstream in about 15 minutes and lasts about 2 hours, where as when it's eaten, it takes 1 hour with the effect lasting longer (6-10 hours).

But be careful, even though marijuana cant kill you, THC clings to fatty tissues (and stays there for up to 3 months), and in the male this means your brain, and your penis head. But I doubt this would in any way effect your healing process. Another long term effect of THC is a weaker ammune system (with heavy use).

I am very optimistic of the short term advantages of marijuana, and if you could try this and update us on your results that would be appreciated. Although, be assured that the doses are controlled, and that you decrease this dose as the days go by (in order to prevent addiction, which is rare). Also, i suggest a more pure form of THC, preferable hash, or hash oil. Hash is made using the resin of the plant, where most of the THC is found.

If you keep this experimentation controlled, i predict only benifitial results.

Good luck Mani and update your progress after your operation, i am eager to hear from you.
