***HELP -- Bleeding after circumcision****

I was hoping someone could help answer a question. I was partially circumcised last Friday (Feb 11)

There is some remaining outer skin which kinda rolls over and covers the head. When I try to pull back the skin to soak the stitches in a bath it immediatly starts bleeding quite a bit. If I held the skin there i am assuming it would keep bleeding. When I release the skin the bleeding seems to stop.

Is this normal? Should I even be pulling back the skin or just leave it to heal on its own? I still haven't pulled it all the way back because of the swelling and bleeding. It's soon to be 6 days post op.
