It sounds like you are having success with the stretching. If I were you, I would keep doing what you're doing until you can retract fully. Only go for circumcision if you cannot further your success and at the approval of your family physician. I wouldn't advise the dorsal slit because like Damian has said it looks awfully ugly, and being a smaller incision could be a difficult recovery. I was cut yesterday and I honestly haven't felt any pain or major discomfort, not even with erections. I was virtually 100% mobile from the instant the anesthesia wore off and pretty much raced my ride out of the hospital, but taking it easy and following post-operative instructions for two weeks nonetheless to be weary of any risk.
