>I am from the UK. The phimotic ring is very thicky and white and is the sort of texture that can peel, I don't know if its scar tissue or not. I probably should have also mentioned that I havn't always had phimosis, only the last few years, and also my frenulum seems to become shorter and closer to my meatus. So maybe it is a yeast infection? I should have had it checked out as soon as the foreskin was getting tight I guess. I really do think the skin isn't able to be stretched in the state its in, I guess I just need to go to a doctor?
>Thanks for your input guys.If the skin is turning peely, dried, and white around the opening it is not infection. It is discharge resulting of the inability to retract the foreskin and subsequently a lack of generalized moisture. This can make stretching very difficult. You *do* need to see a doctor and it would be a very intelligent choice to try the betamethasone cream.
