Circ - 2 weeks old now

Hi all,

Sorry I couldnt keep you updated whilst I was off - I had a problem with my home PC. Well, I am back at work today. All going really well. Further to my earlier mail, all that has happened since is good. Healing is going well. Last week, I had a lot of hyper-sensitivity on the glans, that soon became blistering - weird?! That has now settled down. 95% of the swelling has gone down, apart from a little around the wound - this had made cleaning difficult, as I had been unable to see the top side of the wound. Anyway, swelling has now gone down enough for me to pull back enough to just expose the wound. It was a bit smelly, and a bit oozy or pussy (not sure), but now I can get to it and clean it, it seems loads better, and is hardly oozing at all now. I will keep an eye on it for a few days - at worst, I may need some more Antibiotics to treat any infection. The wound looks OK(ish) - a few holes and red raw patches, but then its not anywhere near fully healed yet. I remember when I had my Frenulosplasty - it looked really bad - but in time, all the lumps, bumps and holes smooth away. The Polysprin cream was not an option with the Hospital or my GP - they prefer Antibiotic tabs - seems silly as the Polysporin if available would have prevented any infection in the first place, hey ho, this is the UK?! Several stitches came out when I was cleaning up here. Night time erections are a pleasure again - they were very sore at first, but now feel great, with no discomfort, and they are not waking me up. Damian, your right, I am a "grower" and that's OK, the only problem is that when flacid, as my glans are still partially covered, it can remain moist. That said, I dont seem to get any Smeg now. My Wife is well pleased with the result, as am I, albeit, I would have prefered a bit more inner foreskin - looks like I have no more than 10-20mm left, but the main thing is that the Phimosis is gone, and the BXO already looks better - although I guess that may take a little while longer to fully clear - difficult to tell until the swelling has all finally gone. The dressing advice was spot on - thanks to Damian, Melolin is the Biz! So, my experience to date has been very good. I cannot offer any additional advice to that posted here as the support from this web site is comprehensive, accurate, and very helpful. What I can add with some authority, is that for me, the General Anaestetic was nothing like the issue that many had led me to believe. On the contrary, the experience was nothing but good. Having had a local for the Frenuloplasty, and a General for the Circ, I am in the unique position of having experienced both, and would opt for a General every time. Day 17, all going well, and healing good with no big problems. Thanks for the all help and advice - it really helped.

Best regards,

Andy
