Hey Stef,

Your story is not disimilar to mine. I am 41, and I am also a Brit (Reading, Berkshire) to boot! The fact your GP hadnt heard of a partial Circ is frightening! I had a full circ 5 weeks ago as a result of severe Phimosis following a frenulum tear (Frenulum too short) that in turn helped cause Balanitis. I had a Frenulosplasty a year ago, and the resulting trauma of the whole thing contributed to the onset of the BXO that rapidly became very aggressive. Anyway, 5 weeks after the event, the BXO (that made probably 60% of my Glans white as your describe) is beginning to go. My BXO made the glans (especially the white bits) very sensitive and sore. This soreness has now gone. My glans now feel normal - the whiteness however remains - although I do think it is starting to disperse - not sure. My Wife also finds the whiteness disconcerting, especially during oral, but then she knows it only looks weird. She cannot catch anything from it, and it doesnt have a taste.

I hope your partial circ does the job. The main justification for a Circ to fix BXO is that the glans are allowed to dry out, hence eventually killing off the BXO. If you find the your partial circ leaves your glans more often than not still covered, then your glans will remain moist, in which case the partial circ may not fully benefit the BXO.
