Hi, thanks for your reassurance.

I haven't seen my girlfriend since getting it done for fear that I might bust a stitch, LOL, swelling is slowly going down. I guess I just have to give it a bit more time, the surgeon was actually happy with it, he thought it would be way worst. He is ok I guess he's been real good, letting me have a few follow-up treatments. I think I know when he made the accidential cut, it was when he swore while doing the procedure (My thoughts was that's not good), plus he said he was almost finish then took another 10 min at least. It can be retracted but hurts quite a bit at the moment, I only do it in shower to clean it.

My foreskin is still intact, it was just the frendulum.

Is a funky smell normal (as with any cut I guess), or does it mean I should be cleaning it more? I try as often as I can.

Funniest thing is at work, only my family (I told on the day so they could drive me) and girlfriend know. and when I didn't turn up the next day at work I needed an excuse, I told them I had a little op on my stomach (Yeah like they believe that). They must notice something by the funny way I walk at the moment.

Thanks for support guys and will keep you posted. Because I know what it's like when I couldn't find information or followups, lucky I found enough info on the net, as the origional who refered me to the surgeon said circumsition was the only way. Not going back to him.

>>Well same question here.
>>I just had a frenuplasty today. It's pretty swollen and since the doc didn't mention the swelling I was a bit worried, so any words of advice would be appreciated.
>Hello,
>As per my reply to Watty - swelling is normal and can take around 6-10 days to go down. Keep the wound dry, but clean, and as before, if you have a foreskin, avoid retraction for a while unless it is confortable and easy. Dont force anything. Re Night time erections - I remember them too - they hurt like hell! I was advised that there is nothing that can be administered to prevent these - an old nurse however suggested that what they do in the hospital is give the base of the penis a firm tap with a pencil - I didnt have the urge to try it myself, but apparently it does work! In any event, in my case, I used dressings right up until the point that I could go through the night without any staining to the dressing. The best of luck, and let us know how you get on.
