Thanks for the quick reply. Anyway,
Over-night the swelling was gone! I always was a qucik healer but I'm really amazed with this one. The stitches look good, although they still bleed a little (the doctor said it would be normal on the first days, just to apply some little pressure). I even woke up with a semi-erection and the foreskin had retracted a little but there was no pain at all, so I'm pretty happy now, though I panicked a bit last night after I saw the swelling - it was really a mess.

Well thanks again. :)

>>Well same question here.
>>I just had a frenuplasty today. It's pretty swollen and since the doc didn't mention the swelling I was a bit worried, so any words of advice would be appreciated.
>Hello,
>As per my reply to Watty - swelling is normal and can take around 6-10 days to go down. Keep the wound dry, but clean, and as before, if you have a foreskin, avoid retraction for a while unless it is confortable and easy. Dont force anything. Re Night time erections - I remember them too - they hurt like hell! I was advised that there is nothing that can be administered to prevent these - an old nurse however suggested that what they do in the hospital is give the base of the penis a firm tap with a pencil - I didnt have the urge to try it myself, but apparently it does work! In any event, in my case, I used dressings right up until the point that I could go through the night without any staining to the dressing. The best of luck, and let us know how you get on.
