Circumcision - DAY ONE!

Hey guys, the day I was dreading finally arrived and it is not going that bad at all so far. It is about 3:00 p.m. right at the moment and the procedure ended 5 hours ago but I'm still not experiecing any pain. Thank God! And I hope it stays this way! :-)

THE PROCEDURE:
I arrived at the clinic at 8:30 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. procedure. I was called in at 9:15, told to take off my clothes and lied down on the operation table. The nurses were cool and made me feel at ease assuring that the procedure was like an art to this doctor and that he was supposed to be really good.

The doctor came in, gave me two local shots which didn't hurt at all. One anesthetic was supposed to take effect immediately and the other was supposed to take effect later on in case the procedure took longer than usual.

I was so nervous at the time of the procedure that I had a major shrinkage issue and I am still experiencing it!!!

The doctor started the procedure and he always warned me when there was a possibility for discomfort. The anesthesia worked really well since I had no idea what was going on (I refused to look) but the doc always kept me informed and gave me a little class of the procedure in case I need to perform on someone else in the future. :-)

The only disconfort I felt during the procedure was when the doctor had to touch the glans since my glans never saw the light of day before. There was also one stitch that I felt but it was not bad at all!

The doctor and the nurses cleaned me up, wraped "it" up and that was it! The procedure was so quick that I was already in my car by 10:00 p.m.

The doctor did not prescribe any pain killers and told me to call him any time in case the recommended 3 Advil every 4-6 hours doesn't resolve the potential pain.

So far there is no pain and the old fella is all wrapped up. He is still frightened as a turtle ! :-)

I had to go to the bathroom an hour ago and it was very scary. I had to sit down because I knew I was going to make a mess since the stream is stronger and thinner. I did not have to take off the bandage since there is a big gap for the urethra area (the doc told me to keep the bandage on until Sunday) and I did not get the bandage wet. Thank God!

I am now sitting here in the computer with a bag of frozen vegetables on my dick area to avoid any extra swelling. So far it feels okay but when the uncovered part of the glans touches the underware I feel a disconfort almost like a small electrical shock to the tip of the penis.

But everything is going okay so far and hopefully everything will continue to go okay.
