I'm actually put the frozen vegetables between my sweatshorts and underwear and it works pretty good. I also use an ice patch that came with my son's first aid kit.

Everything is going okay so far except that it is a little bit more swolen this morning when I woke up. But the swelling is not that bad. But it is bad enough for me to have to sit down to pee. The swelling is messing with my stream and it even shot up a couple of times.

The first real discomfort I had was last night when I woke up 4 times because of night erections/morning wood. The pain was not severe but there was enough pain to wake me up and keep me awake until the pain when away when I lost the erection.

The 4th erection of the night was not bad since I was sleeping on my side. I read someone here giving this advice to sleep on your side if you have painful night erections and that worked really well! Thanks to whoever that was!

The other times I naturally slept on my back and I paid the price with the pain. :-)

My concern now is the bandage. My doctor put a really good bandage which is pretty tight. I like that because it is a very good protection but he said not to change it and if it does fall not to put another bandage.

I was told not to take the bandage off until I take a shower tomorrow morning and I know it is going to drive me crazy! One reason because of the night erection made me sweat and I'd love to take a shower. The other reason being that I feel funny not changing the gause and cleaning it! But I have to be patient since "doctor knows best". :-)

Now a question for you guys... Once I take the bandage off how should I clean it? Should I dress it again or let it breathe? What should I put on it to prevent complications?

I appreciate everyone's help and every advice I received so far! This is a great forum!

Thanks again!

Floyd

ps. The doctor said that local anesthesia should be enough and it wasn't really that bad. The only discomfort I felt was when the doctor touched the glans and I also felt a couple of the stitches. But the pain/discomfort wasn't bad at all and I was able to drive out of there immediatly after the procedure.
