You should feel like a total idiot for leaving your house, let alone going into a pool full of chemicals with an open wound. You have your whole fucking life to teach swimming, you have two weeks to heal. What's more important to you? Your penis or swimming? Obviously swimming. Even further you are risking infection by entering areas which are publically occupied -- with an open wound, who knows what may spread there? Setting yourself up for STDs perhaps? There is a reason they disallow pool members to have open wounds, there should be a bloody sign on the changeroom door. You should have been more courteous. With that having been said, I hope you've had no harm done so far. And I would advise waiting until you are able to begin your REGULAR activities (4-6 weeks, if you had a good surgeon) until you take it for granted. Additionally I would suggest telling your supervisor to fuck off -- or having your doctor contact him if the issue is your not being able to take leave. It doesn't have to be any of their damned business.
Have a good recovery.

>>The yellowish liquid is lymphatic fluid - normal at this stage of healing. I believe chlorine tends to act as an astringent, meaning it will help to squeeze the wound closed temporarily
>I'm back from teaching lessons. It was pretty painful, just because I wasn't able to wear a bandage or anything to protect the sensitive glans from rubbing against my trunks, but I don't think there was a chlorine problem. Does anyone know of anything I could wear that will stay on in the water?
