It's more of a courtesy issue than a health risk, but both are equally possible.
To put it bluntly, how would you feel if this wasn't you and somebody else was swimming around the pool with an open wound and there were potential diseases? Or even more unlightly, how would you feel if some moron dropped a bloody condom at the bottom of your swimming space?
Doesn't it sound absolutely rediculous to you? Don't you feel like a total fucking moron for not seeking and following the advisory of your surgeon? I just hope you're healing alright.
>well i used the condom. there was little to no pain, i'm not sure if it's because of the condom or since the wound has healed alot, but i'm pretty sure it was the condom. anyway, i had to lifeguard after lessons, and after diving into the pool, i realized it wasn't on anymore. i looked around for it and wasn't able to find it, and so finally i just gave up. about 5 minutes later an old woman comes into the office screaming about it and one of the other guards fished it out with the skimmer. i mean no one had any idea but me, but it was still embarassing. ha just thought i'd let y'all know.
