This is the point that makes me particularly suspicious of this surgeon. He has a patient with a perfectly functional, healthy foreskin. The surgeon should have said, "It doesn't seem that you need surgery at all." At the very least he might have said, "Well, I can do that for you if that's what you want." But instead he leaps to saying that a full circumcision ought to be done on a healthy, mobile foreskin. He OUGHT to know that the vast majority of men in the world never have any real problem with their foreskins, but he immediately treats it as dangerous junk to be amputated as soon as possible. If you went to a surgeon for evaluation for a stomach or duodenal ulcer repair surgery and his first reaction was 'I'll take the gall bladder while I'm in there' even though there is no indication that it is unhealthy, you'd recognize him as knife-happy and probably greedy as well. You should see the same thing with this guy who is itching to remove your foreskin. Do not go back to this guy - a proper doctor respects his patients' bodies, and this fellow obviously does not. It is certainly not unheard of for surgeons to announce after a surgery that they 'had' to do other things than what you agreed to: you cannot trust that someone who pushes unnecessary surgery so readily will not go ahead and do it anyway.
