My doctor also said I could have gentle sex after three weeks but in practice you can't help but remember what has been done to the fella and it just seems too soon to put him through the full works. I think your approach is extremely wise and you are to be commended for that. A few months back, I read a message from a guy (it may have been on this board) who claimed he had full intercourse with his stitches still in! Personally, I didn't believe it but if it was true, he was being highly irresponsible to say the least.
