After reading that thread I can only say it makes RIC look more sensible!
I had a complete foreskin the first half of my life- so I know they can be lived with. I wore it retracted from about age 12 on.
I did have some skin removed in mid life- no regrets.
I have had no concerns when hospitalized and catheterized- no extra cleanup and "replace that foreskin forward after inserting catheter" advice for a nurse to follow or mess up on.
Also plenty of available sensitivity in the glans and surrounding areas.
Foreskins are fine when they work.
They are not a necessary item to have to struggle with- NOT Essential.
