ARC Manifesto

Active members, interested supporters and innocent bystanders - all are welcome.

ARCgroup is a group to renew thinking on circumcision - away from the century old polarised attitudes of the massive anti and pro circ. groups.

ARCgroup forum is a meeting place for people who feel routine solutions in the modern world must involve monitoring and common sense thinking on research and prevention.

How ARC develops depends on who joins in and what interests ideas and energy new people have. It will take maybe ten years to develop. In about 20 years time I want ARCgroup to take over management of male-initiation.net

I believe my latest interpretation :) of what ARC means is exactly right and Applied Research is what we must do. ARCgroup will be a central liason place where people can coordinate, exchange ideas and info., keep me and themselves up to date, and probably the most central group requirement, think together, clearly and creatively about how to break taboos.

Many of the practical thinking areas, central taboos, omissions, misinterpretations, problems and questions have now been summarised on RIC, Oster, BMJ, Ploss and Bryk.

Generally speaking we are looking for forum moderators and site managers.

This site was established on the basis of numerous case histories. There are now 7 specialist forums to develop the full depth potential of communication with questioners, and a feedback system to a central collecting forum for interesting case histories and information.

I want to give away my conditions treatment files. This is 80% of my present updating work, and it would be far more efficient if done by others, it could even be further split up for people with special interests in; a Picture Gallery; infections; stretching and steroids; minimal and partial surgery and preputial plasty. Also updating the Unbiased Index; and developing specialist info on the frenulum maybe with frenulum.com (with a network of closed ARC member forums to help updating all these).

Keeping up to date with MEDLINE is very important with the abstracts posted on a special discussion forum - (checking the legal situation)

Liason with anti and pro circ sites (CIRCLIST especially, because many there have experience of phimosis) to keep up with developments in non- surgical, and surgical treatment techniques, and generally be aware of the world around us.

Development all depends on who joins and what you want to do. The project needs a biologist/chemist to research the release of infant adhesions. Other directions of action and thought are, linguistic projects, statistics to check, drawings please, and someone to rewrite my files with a sense of humour, the possibilities are infinite, but if you aint got the message by now you never will - so come along to ARCgroup

All I ask as policy to start with, is open mindedness on circumcision and internet politics. And if someone comes along who is sharper or has more potential on this perspective than I have, then let them take over.

I simply offer this as a meeting place, free of problem letters and loonies, - for people who want to develop common sense thinking, research and publication of this third perspective (alternatives to yes or no) on circumcision issues.

My needs and the needs of others in future - is a group to motivate, support each other coordinate, clap on shoulder, make friends and rejoice together.

so thats ARC Manifesto
Paste it on your walls
Bow down to it and make your pledges NOW

thats all
lol
