Re-swelling

I have been circ'd for nearly six weeks now and although in a little pain still, things are ok. The swelling around the base of the head of me penis where the lymph fluid is, is still quite swollen but seeing as though I hadn't masturbated or had any sexual activity for 6 weeks (!!!) I decided to masturbate. Everything went well and I have been doing this for a few days, but now the swelling seems to have gone up a bit now rather than going down.

So my question is does masturbation delay the healing process? Should I stop??.. (don't know if I can though!!!)
