>Then the non-moving skin right under the edge of the corona(? - the rim of the glans) gets progressively tighter, and the glans near the corona turns purple, becoming tender and faintly aching like a wound; but the foreskin itself is not tight at all. The colouring gradually extends outwards towards the tip until the entire glans is purple, and the ache near the corona is quite pronounced; though not debilitating, it is uncomfortable enough to prevent any further thoughts of erotic or pleasurable things.
>At 80-90% the surface of the glans becomes dry and desensitised (though still purple and aching).
>Soon after that the frenulum reaches a point where it suddenly screams with pain. I have never taken it past this point. The foreskin is still not tight, and can be pulled back over glans, although it is dry + sticky and takes some awkward (and frantic!) twiddling, especially if pubic hairs get caught in it. As soon as the frenulum hurts, the penis quickly begins to lose its erection, and the pain subsides.
>I think that maybe the short frenulum is pulling on the skin just under the corona (not the foreskin), turning it into a tight ring as the penis gets harder. Does this make sense?

It does, and I think you're right. Paul is very well qualified to offer the advice he has, so you might want to try what he has suggested.
