As an answer to: Re: Dealing with phimosis and frenulum problems written by Jim at 02 Feb 2002 05:02:38:

>>I am 29 years old and I was unable to pull back my foreskin until a few months ago. Like Jim I new something was wrong years ago but did nothing about. After five attempts between 17 and 24 I gave up. Then one day after a session of masturbation my foreskin went back futher than I had ever seen it go. After stroking it some more it went back further and further. And today after visiting this site I discover that my biggest problem now is a short frenulum. When I pull the foreskin back as far as it will go my penis bends forward. After reading that the operation to cure it consist of a few z or y incisions I think I might do it myself. But I am concerned that I might mistakenly cut a nerve. Will continued stretching fix the problem? Any suggestions?
>What have you to lose by attempting to stretch the frenulum? If you were to continue pulling back the foreskin to its fullest extent, then hold it there, thereby stretching the frenulum, eventually it will get the idea. I have a friend who was successful in stretching his. It just depends upon your own determination more than anything else.

I think I will take your advice and see what happens over the next six months. I wasn't sure stretching would help. Someone hear said it might tighten again.
