>>>I am 29 years old and I was unable to pull back my foreskin until a few months ago. Like Jim I new something was wrong years ago but did nothing about. After five attempts between 17 and 24 I gave up. Then one day after a session of masturbation my foreskin went back futher than I had ever seen it go. After stroking it some more it went back further and further. And today after visiting this site I discover that my biggest problem now is a short
frenulum. When I pull the foreskin back as far as it will go my penis bends forward. After reading that the operation to cure it consist of a few z or y incisions I think I might do it myself. But I am concerned that I might
mistakenly cut a nerve. Will continued stretching fix the problem? Any suggestions?
>>What have you to lose by attempting to stretch the frenulum? If you were to continue pulling back the foreskin to its fullest extent, then hold it there, thereby stretching the frenulum, eventually it will get the idea. I have a friend who was successful in stretching his. It just depends upon your own determination more than anything else.
>I think I will take your advice and see what happens over the next six months. I wasn't sure stretching would help. Someone hear said it might tighten again.Where a lot of guys have problems in stretching is quitting too soon. It necessary to give the cells time to build. You'll reach a point where the diameter is ideal, but if you don't continue to retract regularly, and/or stretch, the skin does have a memory and may shrink back. The key is to continue putting tension on it. Many are using devices to hold open the skin for several hours per day, thus preventing the skin from retreating. It's worth a thought.
