As an answer to: Penile ligament tear written by Bobby at 12 Feb 2002 23:59:06:

I fear that on this matter, there's not much more that can be said, than what the urologists have already told you.

The suspensory ligament holds the top of the penis to the body. This is deliberately cut in the (bogus in my opinion) procedure advertised as "penis lengthening". The effect is no more nor less than to allow the penis to hang lower so that it hangs further away from the body. Since the "standard" method of measuring penis length is from the body to the tip along the top, then this measurement is then longer but commonsense indicates the penis has not changed significantly but will now hang so much lower when erect (or indeed, flaccid).

So this does appear to be part of the problem you describe. However when this is done deliberately, it should not affect the ability to have an erection, so you must have done far more damage than this.

Presumably, you have torn the suspensory ligament away from the top of the corpora and ruptured one or both as well. Part of the problem of this happening is that the bruising extends into the corpora and causes some blockage, and fibrosis (scarring) whilst healing. Another aspect is that nerves run along the top in this area, and they may also have been torn.

I suspect your only option would be microsurgical exploration of the injury by a specialist in this particular condition, and that would be a particularly rare beastie, sad to say. You may be best just to ask a few more urologists whether anyone has special expertise with such injuries.

May I presume by the way, that you did this in the "classic" manner, by holding a lady astride you whilst standing, and she fell?
