Given what RJK has done to my posting by way of reply, I will answer this separately!
The "he" to which I refer in the first paragraph as being understanding, is not Spyros, who quite certainly has a most excellent appraisal of the matter, but "CaribbeanGuy".
In one of his follow-ups to that posting, Spyros notes that had he understood the potential of dilators, he could have used them and achieved the desired stretching. He most certainly had a tough time being told by his first doctor of contact that stretching would not work, which is not a good prognostic factor. Doubt is arguably the most harmful barrier to success in any enterprise, whether it relates to sexual performance, or the result of a therapy.
