Idea: Look in the hardware store for a tubular "wad punch". It must be sharp however! If the hardware shop sells the stoppers, they likely know what sort of punch you need - you can always tell them you're working on your beer kit!

Use the wad punch to bore a hole straight through the stopper. I have to warn you - this is a very dangerous operation! As long as you know. If you hold the stopper in your hand, use a welding glove (in good condition) to hold it. Otherwise, I suggest you find a piece of wood with a suitable sized hole to hold the stopper while you bore it. You cannot hold it in a vyce. (;-^)

Actually, you may be able to get pre-bored stoppers (chemical supply stores).

Anyway, the idea is, if you use a pre-bored stopper, you can leave it in all day, because you can pee with it in place. Shake it out well, and wash at least once daily, more often if you can.
