Here's the easy and safe solution for drilling the stoppers so they can be worn whilst having a pee.
Put the stopper in the deep freeze. When it's become hard frozen it can be held in vyce on the bench and drilled much more easily and acurately. The rubber is no worse for the wear when it thaws out again.
