>Your son is not yet old enough for such a diagnosis. When he is a teen, such an opinion might be appropriate, but at four years old, his penis is just not yet ready to be retractible. You can help it along by teaching him to pull back on the foreskin each time he pees and also at bathtime. It probably won't make much progress at first, but he has nine years to work on it before he becomes a teen and starts thinking of using his penis as a sexual instrument. If at the time he becomes a teen, and the skin is not cooperating, you can use non-invasive methods to stretch the opening, thus allowing it to be pulled back. Check out the post by Greg for an ingenious method that will work. Meanwhile, quit worrying about what the doctor said. It could very well be that he does not have a foreskin of his own, and he really doesn't know much about how they work.

DITTO's to what Jim said. My son was also diagnosed (he was 3) 6months later it fixed itself. Most doctors are ignorant about foreskins.
