It's good to hear that you have a sensible dad. My message to you was no to suggest that your dad wasn't cool, but only to caution you in determining his stance before revealing your situation. Evidentally you are not American. American boys often do not stand a chance at protection their parts under the same circumstances.

Did your dad offer a solution which was successful for him?
