Drowel? Dunno. A DOWEL is a peg usually made of wood, metal or plastic that is jammed tightly into corresponding holes so as to fix things together. You can buy dowels in most hardware stores.
A DROWEL could be a drilled-out dowel - a dowel with a hole running along its central axis. It wouldn't be much use as a dowel anymore, though it might have other uses, such as stretching foreskins. Either that or DROWEL is a typo, the sort of thing produced when Dr Owel types too quickly. This incidentally, is DRIVEL.
