If you'll do a bit of research, you'll find that in China, physicians do use things that they put under the foreskins of teenage boys. They actually use balloons which are pumped up to do the stretching.
Remember, the NHS in countries which have such a designation, have of very recent time been known to lop off foreskins in lieu of providing any information even about stretching.
Physicians are a rather conservative lot, fearful of stepping out on a limb to make history, as well as fearful of chastisement by peers. It's much easier for most of them, primarily because of the manner in which trained, to see new ways of doing things.
If stretching works for you, by all means continue. It will just take you a little longer than those who have the ability to see the benefits of constant tension provided by using devices.
Oh, BTW, did you know that plastic surgeons, most likely paid by your NHS, do employ such devices, on the bodies of burn victims to stetch the skin in order to have donor skin for grafts. Perhaps they'll eventually catch on to what we are saying here.
