That’s impressive progress you’re making. I don’t know how long it might take for the ‘excess’ sensitivity of the glans to subside, though as PaulB says, it shouldn’t be painful during sex if everything is well lubricated.
I was in roughly your situation myself a few years ago, and my glans was definitely almost painfully sensitive. I’ve forgotten how long it took before it calmed down. Time scales for stretching programs are probably always going to be very approximate anyway, and the scales I came up with were based on what I remembered of my own stretching progress, and on the article by Beaugé.
If you get a cut or a blister, how long does it usually take to heal? If you play tennis, but stop playing for a few months, the calluses on your hands often wear off. Then you start playing again. The first week or so is often pretty annoying, because you get blisters. During a long game these can really get raw, and you think, “isn’t it a great idea that sweat is so f-ing salty.” But it seems that a week or two of regular play usually does the trick.
So a week or two perhaps? The skin on the glans probably needs to form a dryish superficial layer.
It would be good to know how long this takes.
Cheers
