Unfortunately this sort of sneering, even disdainful reply has become typical of much that is posted now on this forum. It was not always so. At one time contributions were gracious for the most part, or at least inoffensive. Comment such as yours needs to be taken seriously.

His approach was like that of the majority of our UK general practitioners, who don't have time to listen and won't countenance a challenge to their opinion, however hasty or misinformed that opinion might be.
