>if i was to go and see a specialist/doctor about my phimosis problem, who or which doctor should i ask to see and what words or terms would i use when speaking to the front desk people who does all the scheduling? (this is so that i don't embarass myself). No matter where you live, 99% of "specialists" require a referral from a GP or your regular physician. If you wanted to go the non-surgical route and try the Betamethazone ointment or cream, your GP could well write you a prescription for that. I'd start that way, with the cream, it can't hurt, it's easy, it's fun - if you finish off with a wank, and it doesn't take that long, you'll see results within two weeks IF you stretch and use the ointment or cream.
As for the dog and pony show at reception, that's a pet peave of mine too. They always ask what it's about and then when you finally are seen by the doctor, the first thing he asks is what the problem is. Either he can't read, he can't be bothered to read or the girl at reception is just nosey!
When she aasks what you want to see the doctor about, you just tell her that you have a medical problem you want to discuss with the doctor -- PERIOD. If she persists, then you just tell her its something you need to speak to the doctor about and you don't discuss personal matters in a public reception area or with staff. She won't like it, but there isn't anything she can do.
When you see the doctor, just tell him plainly that your foreskin is tight and you aren't able to expose your knob and that you would like a prescription for Betamethazone cream to help stretch it open... or if what you fancy is a circumcision then tell him that. In the case of getting your willy done, he'll refer you to a urologist.
Some doctors will take for granted that you know if your foreskin is tight and not ask to see your willy, pthers may want to have a look, but the good thing is that 99.9% of GP's have seen it all and you're just another in the queue and it's over quickly.
