I can only talk from when I was partially circ'd last year. I think it was around 2-3 weeks before it became comfortable. Before that it was definitely hyper sensitive. In saying 2-3 weeks though, I had surgery and you haven't indicated you have so maybe the head won't be as tender and it'll be quicker.
