Your statement is quite irresponsible. Steve is making good progress with his current exercises. Why would he wish to visit a doctor and throw good money away? Once his stretching is done, only regular retraction is necessary to keep everything in working order.

I'd suggest that you ask a specialist if you want a professional opinion on the function of stretching and how it could be of benefit both long and short term. It may be embarrassing talking about it, but they'll be able give you an answer from a qualified perspective.
