foreskin treatment using betamethasone

Hello I have tight foreskin and have heard that it can be treated by use of betamethasone. However I understand this is prescription only and feel very embarassed going to the doctor to ask for this. Is there any way to get the treatment witout prescription. I am in the UK. If failing that, is there a non prescription treatment that i might be able to try.
