As an answer to: foreskin treatment using betamethasone written by Rob at 28 Apr 2002 15:41:12:

>Hello I have tight foreskin and have heard that it can be treated by use of betamethasone. However I understand this is prescription only and feel very embarassed going to the doctor to ask for this. Is there any way to get the treatment witout prescription. I am in the UK. If failing that, is there a non prescription treatment that i might be able to try.

As Dr Paul has already stated, the stretching is the most important factor, not the steroid. If you simply start stretching exercises, there will be absolutely no need to see your GP or a specialist. This is indeed an exercise well compared to body-building. In fact, it's a whole lot easier and you don't need a personal trainer. Anyone with the ability to follow simple instruction can have success, so why not just try it. If you read back at some of the posts in which other guys have asked about stretching you'll find what needs to be done. The kicker to the whole episode is that if you do it, it will work. That is a law of nature and is irrefutable. Paul, Will and I have had much success in coaching others in your situation, so if you need some help along the way, we'll be here for you.
