>What purpose do you see served by having the doctor look at Steve?
The very useful purpose of having his mind set at rest by knowing that his problem is under control (or coming under control). It should be obvious to all but the irrational that having a competent professional check out a bothersome condition and getting the professional's advice about it, is much preferable to relying solely on the Internet, a source of abundant but often questionably reliable advice. That's why I consider AJ's straightforward, dispassionate suggestion useful. This has nothing to do with Steve's ability to handle his own problems. If he'd had full confidence in his own ability, chances are he'd not have felt it necessary to ask for help. Competent physicians can be of great help when help (rather than opinionated conjecture) is needed.
Do you not believe he is capable of handling his own situation?
See the last 3 sentences in my remarks above.
>>>> its just i read that if u dont it goes back to how it was. its ok to do it now, but i dont like the thought of doing it all my life.????
>>>I've read many accound from men that have tried stretching and that it has reverted back to it's orginal state too, Steve. I'd suggest that you ask a specialist if you want a professional opinion on the function of stretching and how it could be of benefit both long and short term. It may be embarrassing talking about it, but they'll be able give you an answer from a qualified perspective.
>>Steve, AJ is giving you good, straightforward advice here. Letting a professional observe your condition, and advise you on it, should cause you no embarrassment whatever; it's not likely to be the first penis he/she has ever seen, and the help you get will be well worth any minor embarrassment.
>>To cite a personal example, a physician gazed upon my endowment yesterday while giving my prostate a routine checkup, and it embarrassed me not at all (nor him, judging from from his reaction). It also updated me on the prostate's condition, which was the reason for the examination. Of course I'm no doubt considerably older than you, and this wasn't my first prostate exam, but we all have to start some time! Good luck!
