Thanks to all who gave advice.

We got my son checked out & we treated a little infection with a topical antibiotic. It worked fine. We did get him checked out last year by a pediatric urologist because his foreskin won't retract, but the advice was "just leave it alone" & my wife didn't get any more info or directions than that.

As for the question of why we left him intact when I'm circumcised. Let's just say that, as a bicyclist, a foreskin would be a great thing to have on long rides. That prompted me thinking a decade ago. Then I had kids myself, and I decided it was up to them to make the decision. I also decided not to go ahead with the collagen implants at birth, too, and the nose job will just have to wait ;)

What kills me is that my sisters the doctor and nurse both decided to circ their boys. Duh.
