Kenalog is a steroid also, but you'll have to wait for an answer from DrPaul to get a medical opionion on this. It may be that your doctor is more familar with this particular brand or formulation. Paul will know for sure. BTW, did you ask the doctor while you were there? You know, it's always wise to quesion them rather than not take a partnership role in your own health. A good doctor will never be insulted because of your questioning him and should welcome your interest. It certainly makes his day a lot more interesting.
