Virtually identical. I have mentioned this in past posts.

"Kena-xxxx" (Triamcinolone acetonide) was the product line of the Squibb company whilst "Betnovate" (Betamethasone dipropionate) was Schering-Plough if I correctly recall, so if you asked Squibb, they'd say it (Kenalog) was better, just on principle.

But for all I know (or care), both companies phagocytosed (engulfed) each other since then, and they are now furiously advertising products that do not have the "nasty" side effect that makes them good for stretching.

So it's really a doctor's preference - which company gave the nicest desk calendars and pens I suppose. (;-)

Remember what we keep saying - stretching is the treatment, Kenalog is the helper, and little more. Use it only on the part that needs to stretch, which if you apply it with the skin being stretched back, will be on the outside. After you have wiped it on, if there is any to see, you used too much.
