>>Don't take anything AJ says seriously. There is a real doctor named PaulB that you can trust to give you the advice you are looking for. AJ is not qualified to tell you anything.

I do, however, have experience with phimosis and having a tight frenulum - from when I suffered with the conditions and am able to give advice to some degree. Sure, I'm no doctor, I never claim to be, but then if I did claim to be a doctor it would be just as valid as PaulB's claim - he could just as easy be a secretary at your local NORM chapter. Who can say?
>Also, I always suggest that people see a doctor if they have concerns about their penis so that they get a proper diagnosis - which you can't get without an actual examination.

But the difference between you & me (and other rational persons) and the anti-circers like Phillip and his uncles, AJ, is that we are interested in having the patient get a proper diagnosis. We don't feel the need to frighten him off doctors by spreading the notion that all of them are hell-bent to circumcise anyone who still has a foreskin. I think it's mischievous and most unhelpful to people faced with concerns that may or may not turn out to be problems to suggest that some avid anti-circumcisionist sitting in front of a computer can do a better job of diagnosis than a competent physician who can actually see the organ that is in need of attention. The NHS for the most part is not made up of pro-circumcisionists, and it does seem (from the outside) to be doing a pretty good job of serving the public's health needs.
