I'll try to be more thourough and answer your questions.

>> problems with tears during stretching ... probably due to my being over-anxious.
>Possibly. Let's just summarise this a moment, partly as I'm too lazy to read back just now, and partly because it helps you summarise it yourself. How long is it now since you started, and just how wide was the foreskin opening to start?

I started stretching actively around February 1. I started using stoppers around March 1. Had to discontinue stoppers and take a break maybe the third week of March. I've been using tmtanec's methods since about April 1 with tremendous results. The opening was about 1/2 an inch when I started in early February. Now, I can retract fully when erect and ejaculate when erect, though there is still some tightness which I plan to work out over the next four months or so. But, for the first time, I feel fully functional.

>> in MY case, the exercises worked better than the stoppers.
>As long as it works!

>> The stoppers, when left in a long time created too much stress.
>How tight were you making them? Tight enough for them to stay in by themselves without taping? Small or big end inward? Did you use lubricant on them? And given all these other details, how uncomfortable were they in the manner you were using them?

I didnt't think the stoppers were too tight, but generally, yes, they would stay in without tape though I taped them anyway. I varied which end I put in first, and I did use a Vitamin E lotion regularly, and still do. They were not uncomfortable at first.

>> but at more regular intervals.
>How so? Do you mean you found the stoppers rather inconvenient, so only used them every few days?

No, I used them every day, at first for 3-4 hours a day. That gave me the most success. Then I tried all day and started having problems. Still, the manual stretching provided better results than even the 3-4 hours of stopper usage. Plus, yes, it was sometimes a hassle using them during normal activities. But I still did.

> maybe this cream is a more important element to this process than has been suggested.
>The rationale for using it is after all, to speed things up. If you are patient enough to stretch less and therefore get slower results, you will likely get the same results, but you will in the process put much more work into it - it will be more tedious.

>> I was applying the cream irregularly before when using the stoppers
>Just how irregularly was irregularly? (;-)

Well, someone suggested one week with cream, one without, so that's what I tried after the first couple of weeks. For me, continuous cream usage has proven key. I'm willing to bet that the stoppers are great if used for a few hours a day, and with the cream. Personally, I'd rather jerk off a coulple times a day and do my stretching then. So far, it's been working great!
