Of couse if the same thing had been done by one of us, it would have been labeled as speculation. But we've been thru this many times...

>BTW, may I ask as to what your motivation and experience is that brings you to forums such as this? I know pretty much why everyone else does, but what's your beef and/or interest and/or goals? I'm hoping that by asking you this here, that you won't feel under pressure from your peers (at fathermag) that influence you and perhaps answer freely.

I *always* answer freely. I came to FM freely, left it for weeks freely, and I have my own brain to think with. I may respect some of those at FM, I may believe in similar things as some of them, but what I say is most of the time what I have learned on my own.

As to what brings me here, specifically? Obviously some links posted at FM. I pondered looking here for a while, and decided to come here just as I returned to FM after a week or so of silence and ignoring the board. Just when you also returned after a while of absence, btw.
My motivation as to coming to boards like these has been explained on FatherMag, I'll use that post of mine as source:

» All I know is what I read on the net and what I remember from biology lessons
» some years ago (as to what skin, nerves, etc. is blablabla). And what I can
» logically conclude from the things I read. Hell yes, I'm new.
»
» Came here after a shocking realisation that America followed that practice --
» shocked more by the fact that it is being done fnar! Not even religious.
»
» I'm empathic by default... This is how I work. When in need I support and
» help, when in sorrow I share the pain. Without knowing how the realisation of
» the loss feels, I'm in pain just by thinking about the many children
» needlessly mutilated, whether in order to please a God that can't make up its
» mind, or for some weird and overly biased set of medical reasons no sane
» person would believe on the other parts of the world.
»
» I couldn't continue something I had begun with someone else... from the
» shock... And somewhere inside I sworn I will help in stopping the unnecessary
» practice, and support those who are willing to do something with their current
» status.
»
» I bet some here will say bad things about me because of this post. To them, in
» advance: Leave me alone, I at least want to stop blood from pouring on the
» ground unnecessarily. -- Yes, I'm also a big fan of Peace, should have lived
» in the hippie-era.

(here I would like to mention I have *not* said anything against adult circumcision)

This is what brought me here, AJ. Not more, not less.

>Thanks.
