Well, it sounds as if your concerns have been fully met by AJ's answer (in which he paradoxically observes: "So, I can't really say anything from actual experience."), and since you specifically don't want input from those of us who are "anti-circ", then I will happily reserve any advice I might have given and I do hope the others of my ilk will do likewise.
Your "non-cancerous lesion" which as you say has no medical name, will most certainly not "turn" into cancer now, and your doctor will easily explain why your apparent lack of feeling is only subjective.
