Are you getting your figures from actual experience or what? What is the source of your information about ages of retraction? You are blowing smoke for your cause Charles.
>Your wife is right. Left uncircumcised, your son sure won't be able to stimulate himself. He won't be able to have -any- semblance of a sex life. She should rejoice.
>Fortunately, you have come to what may be the best forum around, for exploring alternatives. Since your son is so afraid and opposed to being circumised, this should give him the incentive to actively pursue an alternative solution.
>The first thing to realize is that there is a -problem- and that it needs to be faced and corrected now. 90% of boys have fully retractable foreskins by age 5, and most of the remaining 10% by age 10. At 15, he is far enough behind to say in all fairness that this isn't going to go away if he doesn't do something about it. The sooner the better, not just for his sexuality but for everything that relates to it in life.
>A hot bath to loosen the skin and make it most elastic, then a routine of stretching, is a way to start. Sometimes a cortico-steroid cream applied to the outside of the foreskin is necessary. Results, or at least some real signs of progress, should be forthcoming within a few weeks at the most.
>The saying 'use it or lose it' comes to mind. If he wants to keep his foreskin, then it has to be made functional, meaning fully and easily retractible. Good luck.
