>When the glans is continually covered as with most of the un circumcised the head is very "sensitive" upon being exposed. The correct word usage should be "tender" a condition which has no relationship to sensual erotic response- in fact may hinder that.

When I pull my foreskin back to wash under it, the sensitivity of my clitoris is also unbearable to the touch, but it feels perfect when a penis or tongue are rubbed on it.

>The post op condition is a separate issue which will improve with a little time.

Your idea of "improvement" is that it becomes less sensitive. Then he'll have to pound the hell outta some chic to be able to finally squeeze out a come. No wonder women in America avoid sex so much.

>My glans was foreskin covered until about age 12 when I opted for going "skinned back". Since this was not immediate and with no surgical trauma I was not aware of any changes in sensitivity. After reading some anti circ stuff 2 trs ago I kept the foreskin foreward for abou 100 days. The glans became moist and shiny. It also became tender easily coming up with an ouch sensation rather than ooooh. I also could not eliminate odor even washing more than once a day. Of course the covered un circed guys don't notice this just as a smoker doesn' realize he, his clothes, car, or house stinks.

You noticed your own odour and yet you're saying that other intact guys couldn't possibly notice theirs? Could it be that most of them don't have an odour problem? If you find it offensive, and you can't find sorbolene lotion with tea tree oil in it, try Paul's suggestion of ladies' face cream to get rid of the smell. I use the former on myself and my partners in the shower before sex, and there's no smell.

>I was not short of sensuous type sensitivity before or after the "experiment". I am back to "wearing it bare" and expect to do so the rest of my days because its better. It feels better "freeballing". It feels better to reach in and feel that glans and exposed underside. It feels better nude in the surf at Little Makena or in the hot tub!
>If I ever require hospitalization or assisted care both catherization and general cleanliness of th genital area will go smoother.

They don't have any problems with foreskins in European hospitals. They are totally natural.

>John, I realize yours is a different "sensitivity issue" but I hope you will not let either your post op experience nor anti circ hysteria keep you from getting back to enjoying good sex. Actually good sex can be had with or without a foreskin!

Oh, well we've established that you must know that because you're gay, but from a woman's point of view, 90% of us who've had both normal and cut, prefer normal. I would suggest reading Kristen O'Hara's book, "Sex as Nature Intended It" to get the way it really is.

>>John, unfortunately everything AJ has mentioned here is true, including the strong likelihood that you'll be used as a weapon against circumcision, a horrible example of what happens. I don't know what your loss of sensation can be attributed to; certainly it isn't the rule following circumcisions, as ample research shows. I had a circumcision some years ago, and sex since then has been great. I'm no exception. There's an example from history: Queen Victoria's son Prince Albert (later King Edward VII) was circumcised in the hope (hers, not his!) it would reduce his interest in sexual activity. There's no evidence that it did, and quite a lot to the contrary. In the course of enjoying himself he managed to pick up gonorrhoea & transmitted a dose to his long-suffering and loyal wife Queen Alexandra. Sorry to take this excursion into history, it doesn't help you a bit. On the other hand, speaking to your doctor, as AJ suggests, certainly seems indicated. I hope he/she can be of real help to you.
