Good luck with the ointment-assisted stretching. It would be interesting - and gratifying too - if you were to prove this doctor wrong. Can you see the scar tissue he mentioned, and if so, could you be bothered to describe it? Also, if you can see it, and it's undoubtedly present, d'you have any idea what might have caused it?

300 GBP tranlates to about 420 USD I think, though the price scales for health care are probably different in the USA. I take it your doc didn't suggest preputioplasty or any other alternatives. Did you ask him if he was circumcised himself?

One of the things I don't get about scar tissue preventing stretching, is that unless the scar tissue goes all the way round, there should still be some normal, unscarred skin that will stretch as it normally would. Stretching may take a little longer, but it should still be possible. It has also been argued that scar tissue ought to stretch too. Good luck.
