Tight foreskin, very sci-fi....please help me!

Sorry this is so long but im really scarred and id like to explain Y.

Ive always had a tight fore skin as i can recall, every things been fine tho, im 17 and until 2 days ago wen i found this web site i was happy. ok i havnt had any sexual contact yet and im probly glad of it cause from wot i been readin this can really hurt me durin sex (true or false?). After panacking and not believing that this was reality (all blokes pulled back their foreskins [ok maybe im a dumb ass]), I accepted it. I told my mum and she took me to the local gp, I had lots of questions to ask her cause this is still really freakn me out. She (the doctor) told me it was common and if i wanted somthing doing i could have circumcision. I asked her if it would cause me pain during sex and she said yes. She will book me an apointment with a surgical consultant in probly bout 2 weeks odd and ill ask him tons of questions that i have got from here. I don't want a surgical procedure, id probly like to just try stretching it but i have 2 problems,
1) The odds are good this friday ill be hooking up with this grl i like and until a few days ago i wasnt nervous (typical) but now ill need to either explain this to her or put off sex for as long as this takes to sort out, i have no idea how long that is...?
2) because my penis head will have been under the skin since god nos it will probly be very sensative (im not too sure but i get queezy just thinkn bout it). I can open it about a centimetre in diameter and then it just wont go any more, there are also white spots on the foreskin wen i pull it back (problem?). Im quite sure it wont hurt to pull off the skin if its more relaxed but i have no idea at this stage. Because in the past couple of days my hole thinking about my penis has changed im really not ok at present with touching it or leaving the foreskin off. Im too used to having it and as i said im sure the head will be very sensative (anything can be done?). I learned to touch my eye with contact lenses so like that i hope this is mostly phsycalogical but i dont want to put anything like bottle tops or anything under the skin unless i really become ok with touching it.
