The answer's quite simple really, it's called the Golden Rule... "He who has the gold makes the rules." If Fathering Magazine takes an anti-circ viewpoint, since they're bearing the financial and operational responsibilities for the site, then that's their perogative, no justification need be shown.
I post over there from time to time. I guess I never stopped to think if the site was specifically anti-circ or not. I try to limit my posts to things I know about and which may be helpful to the poster of the question, whilst keeping away from the name calling posting wars which occur from time to time. I also believe that some of the messages are posted by trolls who get off on seeing a war start. i.e. "I'm having my 2 year old circ'd and no one is going to stop me." All that is is a match thrown in the petrol tank and from the initial post on out, the poster never is heard from again as some of the folks go to war with each other.
My take on these sites is that they're for answering questions posted by individuals. I ignore the rest.
